Who: Tifa Lockhart, anybody else.
When: Before the attack on Sephiroth.
Location: Seventh Heaven
Rating: Should be G.
Summary: Help Tifa get caught up, plz?

While it was regrettable that Tifa wasn't able to join the others on the Shera and its party, Tifa felt it better to stay at home with the children and the business; after all, the bills wouldn't pay for themselves, despite their group saving the world more than once. Not that she wanted any special treatment; she just wanted a normal life. In spite of that, however, things kept on happening... wasn't there any reprieve whatsoever?

Giving the bar one more wipe, Tifa sat down on one of the stools, gazingly longingly at the empty bottles of alcohol as she pondered what else needed to be taken care of.

ooc: question
is Tifa in Edge or elsewhere? And would she be open to a phonecall?
Aerith Gainesborough: That so? | Hmm... | I'm thinkingseraphic_maiden on November 11th, 2009 08:23 pm (UTC)

[Call to Tifa]
[Well this wasn't going the way she wanted. Aerith stood on the stairs that led into her church, looking up at the obviously falling-apart building. She'd done a little work today and saved her progress before calling it a day. If her memory served, many of her friends were off to take care of Sephiroth, but she hadn't remembered seeing Tifa with that party. Pulling out her phone, she dialed up Tifa's number]

Hi Tifa! Don't tell me you're all by yourself down at Seventh Heaven...

lol, "saved her progress". what color is Aerith's memory card?
Well, technically the children are upstairs playing... how are repairs coming to your church?
Aerith Gainesborough: serious | focusedseraphic_maiden on November 12th, 2009 11:07 pm (UTC)
Pink, of couse! With a little lily on it! XD
But no other adults?

Repairs will...be a while. There's a lot of work to be done.

Say, if you aren't busy, how about I come by for a visit?

I don't think I'd mind; maybe later on when Cloud's here to take care of the kids, I can help you with the church repairs.

Dragoons call Tifa Day
Veld picked up the phone and looked it over before he dialed. He had various ways to get information and Aerith had spoken so highly of miss Lockheart. He didn't really know what he planned to accomplish, but he wanted to thank the young woman for being there with Aerith when he couldn't be.

So, he dialed and waited.

"Hello, Strife Delivery Service." Tifa picked up the phone, not recognizing the number of the Caller ID. She hoped it wasn't a delivery request, considering how busy Cloud was right now.

"Good afternoon, Miss Lockheart I presume?" Veld couldn't help that 'father mode' clicked on when young ladies near his daughters' ages were around.

She sounded like a very sweet girl. Veld was assured then that Aerith was capable of picking good, honest friends.

"Yes, I am." Tifa responded, a bit perplexed; she didn't recognize the voice.

"I will try to keep this brief." He said softly. "My name is Veld Dragoon. I'm Aerith's father. I just wanted to thank you for looking after her as well as you did. She spoke about you quite a bit."

There. Something about karma. And she sounded like she needed a little thank you.

I'm bored. How are the kids?
lightofwarmth on November 16th, 2009 11:55 pm (UTC)

The kids are fine; they're playing in their room right now.

Did you enjoy the party, Cloud?
